Hair & makeup has always been my passion!
I have been working in the makeup industry for over 5 years, after discovering my love for makeup whilst attending London College of Fashion where I studied in a Hair, Makeup & Prosthetics degree. This gave me a great opportunity to develop my skills, whilst finding my passion for creating looks in all areas of the industry.
Since graduating I have worked in TV, film & studios, as well as now specialising in bridal, special events & photoshoots. I am truly passionate about the artistic part of the job. Serving my clients and making them feel their absolute best selves for their special day has truly been the best experience. Now based in Manchester I travel throughout the North West, North East, Cheshire and across the UK.
my journey
2016
I started my hair and makeup journey in October 2016 leaving my home town in Durham to move to London, attending London College of fashion UAL. From 2016- 2019 I completed my 3-year degree covering all aspects of hair & makeup, building up skills in making prosthetics, wigs, special effects and editorial. I also started my first makeup job at Benefit Cosmetics where I worked part time for the next 4 years.
2019
Whilst at uni I started building up my freelancing work, getting oppurtunities working with ITV Loose Women, helping set wigs at Wig Specialities, finishing my year getting my first credit with both BBC 3 & Channel 4 comedy sketch ‘Worlds Worst Dinner party’. I graduated with a 2:1 ready to immerse myself head first into the industry.
2020
I left behind my work on the Benefit counter and started working full time in the industry, doing a mix of film, tv and editorial. Let’s not mention 2020 but things took a slight pause, I left London until the industry came back in full swing.
2023
Flash forward to 2023, I’m now living full time in Manchester completing over 50 weddings annually.
Bridal has become my specialism whilst still working in studios, commercials & film. I’m so grateful I can call this my job, especially making brides look and feel the best version of themselves.
